Chinese Sheep Sign (Goat)

Chinese Sheep/Goat

Those born in the year of the Chinese Sheep (also called Goat in Chinese Astrology) are creative. They love to daydream and are most comfortable when delving into their own minds. They are not very materialistic, preferring to play with their imagination than with gadgets and toys. They are gentle and a bit shy. Since they are sincere, they often believe others to be also. They are compassionate and fast to forgive.

Chinese Sheep don't care for discipline and like to set their own schedule. They may not take criticism well. Pressure makes them anxious. They are often lucky financially and find ways to get their needs met no matter how tough the circumstances are. They are rather refined and like a cozy setting. They love the countryside. They enjoy being part of a group, but they prefer to occupy the fringes rather than center stage.

Sheep are not aggressive. They get their way through sheer persistence and passive-aggressive behavior. They may be indecisive and tend to worry. They may not always be reliable.

True to their artistic temperament, Chinese Sheep may be rather insecure. Unless they feel loved and admired, they may end up worrying about every little detail. They are not great organizers, and may tend to be oversensitive. They need to learn to relax and hand the reins over to others at times.

Sheep like jobs where they are part of the crowd. They don't usually volunteer to lead. They make excellent artists, florists, designers, teachers and editors.

Chinese Sheep tend to be pretty healthy. Unhappiness can cause them physical problems, however.

The Chinese Sheep need to feel supported and loved in a relationship. They may pull away from their partner if they are conflicted or anxious. When they feel fulfilled in a relationship, they are generous and giving. They shower their partner with luxury. They can also be very timid or fickle. They are excellent at nurturing.

Sheep are compatible with Rabbits and Pigs. They are least compatible with Oxen and Rats.

Different years are assigned different elements, which can affect each sign. The five elements are metal, water, wood, fire and earth.

Metal Sheep (1931, 1991, 2051) look tough on the exterior, but inside they are fragile. They love culture and the arts in any form.

Water Sheep (1943, 2003, 2063) like to have fun. They are enjoyable to spend time with and prefer to find a spot to call their own. They tend to lack self-confidence and may pout when things don't work out they way they planned.

Wood Sheep (1955, 2005, 2075) love to be in groups. They are generous, which can often be taken advantage of. They need to learn how to take care of themselves.

Fire Sheep (1907, 1967, 2027) are not as sensitive as other Sheep. They have no problem putting their own needs first. They love to socialize.

Earth Sheep (1919, 1979, 2039) keep their feet firmly on the ground. They tend to be more conservative and independent. They want to be practical, but they don't have much self-confidence. They truly love family life and want to enjoy life to its fullest.
